The VICC meta-knowledgebase contains content from multiple knowledge providers. As a data integrator, we do not impose any additional licensing requirements beyond the terms of the constituent resources. The full content of the VICC meta-knowledgebase is available for non-commercial, research use only. For each constituent knowledgebase below, we provide a brief summary of the free use of content for non-research / commercial use and links to the knowledgebase licensing information.
CIViC¶
Content from the Clinical Interpretation of Variants in Cancer knowledgebase is public domain (CC0; CIViC license statement).
PMKB¶
Content from the Precision Medicine Knowledgebase is freely accessible with attribution (CC-BY 4.0; PMKB license statement).
CGI¶
While the Cancer Genome Interpreter is restricted from commercial use (CC-BY-NC 4.0; CGI license statement), the content from the Cancer Biomarkers Database (used in this resource) is public domain (CC0; CBD license statement).
Jax CKB¶
The Jackson Labs Clinical Knowledgebase is restricted from commercial use and has share-alike requirements for non-commercial use (CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0; Jax-CKB license statement). Contact this resource for information on licensing for commercial purposes.
